Happy Halloween & 7 Month Old Updates!

I feel bad for my lack of updates. I have been pretty busy and there's been a lot going on. But I thought I would update since it is Halloween & Abigail turned 7 months old yesterday! =) My little one is growing up and no longer wants to cuddle with her mommy =( She started doing this "da da da da da" thing over and over and over. Her dad swears its because he taught her "da da" and she started saying it..I'm pretty sure she doesn't know what she's saying but she loves saying those words and we have a feeling her first words will be "da da" in the future. I'm pretty sad about that. I want her to say "ma ma" first! Haha!

Her last doctors appointment was at 6 months and she was 13.25lbs and 26 inches long! She can now:
  •  Slowly crawl to places to wants to. But after two crawls, she sits up so she's still trying to get the hang of it.
  • She can sit up (previous post above) and she does it quite often! She even sits up to cry for mommy! LOL
  • She loves to pull on things to stand up. I hate this one the most kind of because her legs still wobble a bit but she loves to do it
  • She says "da da da da da" all day long like I mentioned above. We had a play date and my fellow March Momma was pretty surprised at how talkative Abby was. I'm gonna have a talker! She gets it from me since I talk A LOT! Haha
  • She's starting to hate purees and loves to chew on things like her Baby Mum Mum's and puffs and yogurt bites. She can eat those things all day.
I wish she didn't do these things so fast. I want her to stay my little baby forever. =( But she's now wanting to be independent. =( She has been keeping our hands full! I don't have time to do much including my school work. It's pretty hard balancing her and full-time school. Which makes me think I shouldn't have taken a full load of school and just half instead. I'm just trying my best to do as much as I can and it has been pretty difficult.

So the month of October has been fun and busy at the same time. We took a couple of "breaks" here and there and had a little fun. Abigail took her trip the the zoo during Zoo Boo and went to a pumpkin patch also. She had the chance to ride her first Hay Ride and her train ride. She's also going back to her second baby class but this time at The Little Gym. I'm hoping it goes great like last time at Gymboree.

Here are a couple of pictures. I bought her an elephant costume but kind of regretted it because she covers her legs and now she likes to crawl, stand, move a lot so she might get upset about that one. LOL! But she has another costume which is her pumpkin I made her and I took lots of pictures with her in that one!
Her costume I initially bought but wanted to make one in the beginning

Happy HALF BIRTHDAY Abigail! Love, Mommy xoxo

I can't believe my baby girl is 6 Months Old today! Time flies by so fast while your raising a baby! And I love EVERY moment of it! She gets her 6 month check up this coming up Tuesday so I am not sure about her stats yet. Another month has flew by and watching her grow up is amazing. She completes me!

Abigail has been trying to roll like crazy now. NON-STOP! She's currently trying to crawl. So she basically gets on all fours (hands and knees) and rocks back and forth like she's trying to move. It's so cute! Lol! I took her to my aunts house today and my mom was there playing with her and she put Abigail on her tummy about 2 or 3 times and she kept getting on her hands and knees and attempted to crawl. My mom kept yelling "LOOK! She's trying to crawl everyone!" Haha! And knowing my mom, it's rare she gets that excited so I am definitely glad she was! Something new and surprising ;)
My buggy-boo has been coo-ing all the time lately and my family thinks she's going to talk in no time. Ha! I hope not too soon because I've heard when they talk..they can TALK and won't stop! Knowing that I talk a lot, I'm pretty sure Abigail will do the same. LOL

Well, since she's 6 months today..ALREADY..=(..I haven't had ONE outing without her. She's either with me or daddy. I can't believe we both haven't been out without her. It's so hard to let my baby girl go. I want to be by her side or her daddy to be by her side at all times. I can't believe I'm so clingy. My family's been bugging me to baby sit and watch her. Today, my mom kept asking me when she was going to get to baby sit (*gasps* my MOTHER? and baby sitting? in one sentence? haha). So surprising! My aunt told me that I need to have alone time with my S/O. But I just can't seem to want to even let her stay with anyone. She even tried telling me to drop Abigail off with my grandma for 2 hours so we can go to the gym. I couldn't do it! So we had to take her to the park and work out outside. I hope soon..I can fight and get courage to at least let my family keep her for a bit. I know I will have to soon. But does it have to be NOW? =(

I can't wait until my baby girl can do all that she wants to do because it just brings joy to my heart that she's growing each and everyday! And one day I can finally just say its okay to let her go and understand that as she grows everyday..she will be more independent but she will always be close to my heart. xoxo

Trying to be a big girl already! =(

Happy 6 Months Abigail! Mommy loves you SO MUCH! :-)

Day 7: Silhouette - Photo Challenge

It's been a while. My deepest apologies. Like I said before, I have been extremely busy with school couponing. ;)

Oh and a baby that gets frustrated because she is now trying to crawl! :) My buggy has been doing the I guess you call it "army crawl", has been getting on all fours just like the picture above and moving slowly but surely across the bed, room, or wherever she has space. It's so cute because she gets so frustrated.

Had to post this picture because it reminded me of Abigail!

I had a pretty good day today. I'm a little sleepy but manageable. Please bare with me on this brag. I can barely keep my eyes opened lol. Sorry once again for the bad resolution. Day 6: From a Low Angle -- Baby Moon -- 1 week before labor!

So I was trying to figure out what picture to post that I took "from a low angle". I went through our Baby Moon pictures and I found a couple I loved. =) Oh and I will add one that's not from a low angle. But its a picture of my pregnant butt 1 week before I had Abigail...LITERALLY! I did not know my water was going to break! We took our Baby Moon 3-20-11 and I had her 3-30-11! LOL!

For our Baby Moon we went to San Antonio. We've been there numerous times and were thinking of going to New Orleans, LA. But I decided why not just go somewhere we know already since I was 35 weeks pregnant and could have popped any moment!

Pictures from a low angle. A random picture in San Antonio
So I lied in the last post. This was the LAST picture before I had Abigail

Day 5: Whatever you want - 30 Day Photo Challenge

Day 5 is a picture of whatever I want. Now this one's a bit easy. But I just don't want to post ANY picture. I want to post a meaningful one (well lets make it two) :)

This was a couple of weeks before I went into labor. The day of my baby shower. It was our last time as just another person in the world. We were going to enter parenthood and we were going to actually be important and part of someone so special to us in life. This was the last time we slept in late, put ourselves first, and did whatever we wanted to do and traded it for sleepless nights (well kind of not really lol), diaper changes, bottle feeding, and baby-cries.

I have a lot of people ask me "Is it hard? Are you tired? Your so young to have a child". If you say 22 years old is young then I wonder what people would say if I had a child at 17 or even 18 years old? I don't think it matters how young or old you are. You can be any age and you can STILL be the best parent EVER! So I think that's a huge misconception on other peoples part.

These two pictures are dear to me because the first one...was part of my baby shower game and this was just so memorable of Abigail's father and I. We had so much fun that day and I will NEVER forget it! I am so blessed to have such a great man in my life and now I have a wonderful daughter that we can both watch grow!
The second picture really made me feel sexy at 33 or 34 weeks pregnant. I felt good and looked good which is rare for me at times. LOL! This was the last time I would ever be lonely again.

I love my daughter Abigail Skye and I wouldn't trade this life for anything!

This weeks coupon brag!

So every Sunday my cousin Nancy and I go on coupon trips. It's now a new ritual!
Here is my CVS and Walgreens trip. I forgot my CVS Allergy Medicine in my purse =( So sorry that's missing from the picture.

 Total OOP: $12.46
Total SAVED: $76.45
Walked out with $12.48 ECBS for next week!
w00t! I am so excited! I have been trying to stock up on toliet paper and paper towels because we go through those like crazy! We now have enough Puff's tissue to last through Christmas season! We tend to have the sniffles around that time! I HAD to buy the Huggies Wipes! It was such a great deal! I couldn't pass it up! (Not that I don't have enough wipes anyway LOL)
The CVS magic coupon machine spit out a coupon for a FREE Ritz Crackerfuls! Yay! Those things are yummy! Like I said I am missing my CVS Allergy Medicine in the picture! =(

Until next time,
xoxo

Day 4: From a High Angle -- 30 Day Photo Challenge

Sorry I have been slacking on my 30 day photo challenge. School has been kicking my butt! Literally! And other things occupy my life like "couponing", my baby girl, and life =)

But I'm kind of doing a messed up 30 day photo challenge. Please bare with me!

Day 4 was kind of tough. I didn't have any pictures from a "high angle" because I lost all of my pictures from about 2-3 years ago when I went to visit my family in Connecticut. But here's a picture of the Empire State Building =)

Compliments of PhotoBucket
Back when I went to visit my family in CT...they took me to New York! It was my first time..I was one year shy of 21 years old so we were kind of bummed that we couldn't go out to drink or to bars. But we did get to see the top of the Empire State Building!! It was so much fun besides the fact that we had to wait 2 hours in line...stay up there for only 30-45 minutes then it took an hour and a half to come back down! It was pretty fun. NYC was a great experience and I wouldn't mind going back again minus the huge crowd around Christmas season! I will always remember this day! It was so much fun!

Abigail's playdate with Vivian AND FIRST Gymboree Class

So I decided to look into Gymboree classes. Wanted to do a first trial and see how Abby would like it. I thought why wouldn't I just invite one of my March Mommy friends! I am so glad I did! Abigail and Vivian had so much fun! They loved each other!

We did the Play and Learn 1 classes for children 4-6months and it was not bad at all. We sang, interacted, laughed, and talked to our babies. The whole time Abigail would grunt/squeal. She would not stay still and she was so hyped up! LOL My child is such the party animal! Her and Vivian kept trying to grab each other! I just told and SHOWED my S/O the pictures. He said it sounds like she had so much fun and he would pay for us to go the next class! w00t! He wants us to go out and have fun since he understands that Abby and I stay home a lot. The only reason why is because it is so hot! But when the weather gets cooler Abby and Vivian will go on many trips!

Tummy Time Mirror. Abby loved it minus all the drool she put on it.

Play time! Her deflated ball! LOL
I love this!
