It SUCKS...

So last night...our truck was broken into. I hate that it happened. Our GPS and Radar along with some CDs were stolen. Luckily, my S/O's $600 car part from work DID NOT get taken. I mean it's just a GPS and Radar but the thought of it makes me cringe that people can do such a thing. I don't want to point any fingers but we DON'T get along with our neighbors due to them constantly blocking our driveway and many calls to the police. We have tried to be so nice, kind, and patient. We have told them in the sweetest way possible. We have done NOTHING. I hate how people act that way. But what can we do? We were thinking about installing security cameras around the house. I thought about this for A WHILE now but I really think we do need it. Even if the police takes finger prints..they told us it would be up to a year until they can tell us who. When they took our GPS, I know my S/O registered it online...it has a serial number. We're hoping that somehow, someway something happens and they get caught. I really don't understand why people have NOTHING better to do. I mean go get an education, go get a damn job, go do something positive with your life. Quit trying to ruin others' lives just for your own well-being. Just sayin'.

Anyway, I'm over it. As long as my family is safe that's all that matters. It was only $400 bucks worth of stuff and I can ALWAYS get another one. I guess they can't. Cowards.

Abigail's turning 4 months this weekend! I am so excited! She really does act like a 4 month old! I can't wait to start more solids with her. We've tried a couple of things. But nothing beats my baby girl's bottle!! She has the worse sensitive skin. She breaks out so easily. Her heat rash is pretty much gone but her cheeks are always turning reddish and I've tried Aquaphor. It helps but I just have to keep being consistent about it.

School is right around the corner. It's a bittersweet moment for me. I love when school starts but when it starts...it STARTS..so much things to do and it almost feels like my brains about to explode.

Top 5 Goals List:
1. Go grab some groceries..bread, milk, etc. -- DONE!
2. Try to look for some books for school. I need to do it ASAP because then I'll be complaining how it's all taken up.
3. Try and get alarm for the truck.
4. Clean out the file drawers.
5. Reorganize my coupon's...this is a MUST. The 31st is coming up and a bunch of my Q's are expiring! It's a sad sad day. But luckily this Sunday's a great newspaper weekend! I really need to subscribe to the newspaper people LOL But then again they might STEAL it..UGH!

Today's Top 5 Goals!

So sometimes I feel so unproductive being a SAHM. I kind of feel like I don't contribute as much as I should, but my S/O tells me that I do enough and he appreciates me for it. Maybe I need to stop thinking so negative about myself so much...it's pretty hard since that's all I've ever had to hear were negative things that really affected me growing up. But back to my top 5 goals for today. I have been unproductive lately...shopping like its nothing (my S/O thinks I am crazy!) and I can't help it! LOL
Yesterday I went to go pick my sister and her "boyfriend" up. Ehh, not really a fan of her having a boyfriend at such as young age. But anyway, I shopped all day and came home right before S/O got home. I felt pretty bad, I'm out shopping while he's out working. But I am blessed to be where I am and blessed to have such a wonderful family. I figured why not make some goals everyday so that I CAN feel PRODUCTIVE.

Top 5 Goals List:
1. Finish washing all of the clothes we have and folding them. (I kind of lack at that department lol)
2. Sweep the floors
3. Try to make dinner before 5 as soon as the meat thaws (I lack at that department also)
4. Eat something!! (Abigail and I usually wake up at 11am everyday..yes I know I sound lazy!) I currently have my leftovers in the microwave...its beeping and telling me to come get it but I'm sitting here on the computer...lol
5. Try to tidy up a bit. Every time I do this...my S/O comes and puts his stuff everywhere! I swear I have to nag at him! Lol

What are your Top 5 Goals for today? I would love to hear it!

Anyway, Abigail's napping in her crib right now! Yay for that! She rarely sleeps in her crib. But now that we have a video monitor I can easily watch, hear, and see her! I'm putting it to use today. =)

This is only day one of testing it out but It works pretty well so far. Her room is pretty dark and I can see her clearly in it. We'll see how it works out. =)

Photo Bomb!

So these past couple of days have been pretty much the same. Lol Yes I have such an exciting life.

We took Abigail to the doctor Wednesday and she has heat rash going on. The doctor looked in between her arms and face and said it looks like mild eczema but then again it could just be a minor rash. She prescribed us a cream and its doing great except her heat rash is still all over her body. My poor baby. It doesn't seem to bug her though so that's a good thing.

Yesterday, my S/O and I took Abigail to go see her cousin KD! =) (SILs baby 4 weeks younger). He is much bigger in volume but feels lighter. They kept starring at each other. LOL It was cute. Then I wish I would've recorded a session with Abigail and I. I kept blowing in her face and talking to her...and she made the biggest laugh/giggles ever! She did it for about 5 minutes straight. SIL called my MIL and had her listen also! I wish DH was there! My baby learned how to laugh. She giggled here and there in the past but NOT like this. I mean she laughed so loud and so hard, it tickled my SIL and I! Then when her daddy came, she laughed for about a minute or two but not as long as she laughed for mommy! =) I mean she LOL'd so loud I couldn't believe it! My baby is growing up! =(

Here are a couple of pictures from this past week. =) I bought her her first pair of shades (well two pairs, I couldn't help it!). It's still a bit big on her, which I thought was odd because it was in the infant/baby section of Target. But I think Abby is just small! Lol

Tummy time this morning
Her in her new sunglasses. Well one of them..
One of those mornings where she sleeps crazy-ish LOL
 Her and her cousin KD
 Early Morning playtime (Friday)
Just some more tutu pics from my phone
 "What is this thing?!?" Lol
 Posing for mommy!
 And again......
 AND once again...
 One more time :)
Last one <3
Every time I tried to fix her tutu, she would grab onto it and mess it up.. lol

Fun Stuff!

Yesterday, Abby and I were extremely bored so I decided to dress her up and take pictures! :) It's so cute! I love it! I tried the best I could to fix her tutu (it was my first time making one!) but she kept trying to grab on it! Lol! That's my baby! Mommy loves dressing her little one up <3 Her onsie says "This is my little black dress". So cute!
(Click on picture to make it slightly larger. Sorry that's the largest it's gonna let me do it on here! Boo!)
My poor baby girl started breaking out real bad. All on the back of her legs, her arms, some on her tummy, and her neck/face. We're taking her to the doctor tomorrow to see what's going on. I tried putting Aquaphor on and it only worked for a bit. Then we tried some baby eczema cream. We just started today but I wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious (like an allergic reaction). I think it's from the Aveeno baby wash she started using. I started some on her last week because that's all I ever hear mommy's using on their LOs, and they also said Johnson and Johnson sucks. But in my case, its the opposite. My poor baby...I didn't notice anything until after I used the Aveeno baby wash on her. Her cheeks are dry and rosy red from it. I thought I would love Aveeno because I love their lotions but I hate the smell (its lightly scented also) and it seems like it doesn't work well with her.

Anyway, last week I ordered some things to make homemade liquid hand soap! Liquid hand soap is the number one used item in this house. I am such a neat/clean freak! All my friends make fun of me for constantly cleaning after myself right away. Lol! I try my best to keep my house and other places cleaned. By all means I am NOT perfect at cleaning but I try! Anyway, my stuff came in today and I decided to try it out with some Ivory soap bars that I got for free with coupons back when I was preggers. =) Loves it!
Here are the results! Homemade liquid hand soap! I love it so much! I just put it in my soap dispensers and it works GREAT! It yields one huge liquid hand soap refill bottle which costs 4-5 bucks at the store. I only spent 2 bucks on the ingredients because I got the Ivory soap for free as stated! Yay! I don't really like the smell of Ivory soap so I decided to just use it up. Such a great idea! We only use Dove when we shower so using up the Ivory bars was a great idea!

I just woke up from my nap and my S/O and DD are asleep. My dog Dash and I are out here in the living room watching Teen Mom. I made some chicken quesidillas for dinner tonight. Yummy! I am so full right now. I think I'll be wide awake for quite a bit. I need to go to sleep no later than 2am because Abigail's appointment is at 9:15am tomorrow. Too bad my S/O only took a half day! It's mommy matinee tomorrow and I really wanted to go but the movie playing doesn't sound so good.

I need to start having some fun but I can't fathom the thought of leaving my LO with ANYONE. My family want's to watch/baby sit her SO BAD. They always tell DH and I that we need to drop Abby off and just go out even if its just to the movies or something. I can't do it. It's sad that my LO is about to be 4 months old and I haven't left her at all. Lol, well besides leaving her with DH to go to the store or something. But I know when school starts, I have NO choice what so ever. I am going to take full time classes and that's a handful in itself. Finding someone to watch my LO while I'm taking my classes is a must. =( I just have to accept it.

Talking about classes, I have to get my books before it runs out. It's almost August and people usually wait last minute. I'm glad I didn't wait last minute to pick my schedule because the good ones are always taken up so quickly! I also have to talk to the counselor about transferring. I am finally gonna transfer to a University after 3-4 years. I am SO embarrassed and ashamed of myself for taking so long to get my Associates while my classmates have already graduated with their Bachelor's this year. =( I feel like a failure. But as long as I'm trying, I don't think I should be negative about it. At least I'm getting both of my Associates (Science and Arts in Teaching) and if I decide to not pursue my career in being a Kindergarten Teacher then I can always have my Associates of Science to fall back on and continue to do something else that I love. It takes time...right now I am stuck between two Universities I want to go to. I just want to go to the best one possible so that I know I did the best I could as a student. I am so blessed that DH helps me out so much and offered me to be a SAHM and let me go to school. =) Now I have to tackle getting some books. Those things cost an arm and a leg!!

Anyway, G'night all! I have some research to do and books to look up. AND some Teen Mom to catch up on! xoxo

So ashamed of myself

I am so disappointed. Right before I was preggers, I tried my best to live a healthy, fit lifestyle. I ran, worked out, ate healthy as best as I could. And looked great, felt great, and then being pregnant for 9months, got me in big big trouble. Lol I ate everything I wanted. Well, now I'm paying for it. When I had Abigail, I lost so much I only had 10lbs left before my pre-pregnancy weight. Lately, I've been eating so much junk, bad carbs, and everything..I gained back what I lost post-pardum. I know it's partially my fault with all the sodas, fast food, and bad dieting, lack of exercise. But goodness, I am one sleep-deprived mommy! Not to mention I start back full-time classes in August and I don't know how I'll handle an infant and school. At least I get to stay at home with my baby girl because if I had to work, I don't know what I'll do.

I just checked my weight today and just about fainted. Lol =( I also hate summer time because I am SO LAZY. I am not a fan of Texas heat, and I get so mad when I'm out and about sweating like a pig! When it hits winter time is usually when I work out, and do all the exercise crap. Then summer time its a different story. Maybe I should get on the treadmill instead of complaining so much on here....

Horrid Walmart Experience with LO...

DH and I decided to take LO to Walmart. Before I leave the house, just as any other mommy would do, I always always make sure I am prepared. But no matter how prepared you are...something always goes wrong. =/ Go figure. I always change my LO's diaper before leaving the house. I use a mixture of Pampers and Luvs. I loved using Luvs when she was in her newborn stages. My friend actually bought me a pack and told me she used it with her daughter. I was hooked. Now that Abigail has doubled her birth weight..Luvs has started to get worse. It started off with LO having one minor blow out at the store with me and DH a couple of weeks ago. Nothing major just a bit on her onsie. Then another teeny tiny blowout at home. Nothing major. Then, every 2 hours that she's in Luvs, it starts to STINK like pee! Literally, strong! I can't even go 3 hours with that diaper being on. Sucks! Its disgusting. I have a 300 count box of Luvs that I'm only HALFWAY done using and I can't wait to finish the pack. I think I have 40-50 left? I might just give that to my S/O's sister to have her try it out and see how she likes it.

Anyway, today was horrible. We were only gone for an hour and a half maybe 2 hours MAX. We took LO inside Walmart in her car seat. She was fast asleep. That Walmart was so hot and humid for some odd reason. But then again we weren't in the BEST side of town at the time. She woke up in a pretty good mood. I noticed she started to make funny faces. It looked like she was pretty frustrated so I decided to take her out of her car seat and carry her. Not knowing she's trying to poop. I then see the side of her leg covered in poo! Her receiving blanket was covering her leg up. My S/O was behind me and he saw that she was still pooping because it kept coming out of her diaper! It got all over her car seat. I was furious! Funny, we didn't even bring out diaper bag because its so heavy and I just brought in her bottle with formula in my purse. We didn't think we would take long. My S/O runs to the car in less than a minute! Lol! I am so frustrated..I'm trying to find a family restroom and when we do find it, its locked. The stupid Walmart girl was talking AND texting on her phone. She was sitting RIGHT by the door of the family RR and didnt even care when we asked her. So I didn't want to wait and decided to go in the public restroom. It was HOTTER than the rest of the store. I was so mad. To top it off, there was a person taking a crap in there. It stunk so bad! I hated it. The stupid diaper changing table was right next to the stall. Stupid I know. It was in the way of people trying to walk to the restroom stalls and in the way of the sinks. How dumb of them to build it there. Anyway, I proceeded to take everything out. Put DD on the changing mat and she started to SCREAM. She cried so hard. And lucky me, people kept coming in and out! I was so mad. I hate Walmart. I rarely go in Walmart. Only if I have to. They gave me dirty looks especially one lady with I think a 9-10 year old daughter it looked like. She kept starring and eyeballing me. I was so annoyed. DD was crying, I had to rush and clean her blow out. I threw away her blanket, onsie and socks. Hurried and put her in a new onsie and gave her to her dad. Then I came back in and cleaned her car seat. It was all over her buckle and straps, her car seat bottom and seeped through under the fabric.

Never again will I use Luvs. People say its because she needs to move a size up. This is the size up I moved her to. Its still a bit big on her while newborns are bit small on her. I think its just the combination of her growing up and Luvs not fitting well with the shape of her body. I was sweating. I swear it was so hot it felt like the AC was broken. I'm never going to that Walmart again either. Lol

I'm still paying for it. I'm trying to clean her car seat cover in the washer and it still smells like poo. Lol =( We came home and I hurried and showered DD and then myself. I'm exhausted. DD is knocked out and I'm going to bed.

xoxo

Busy Morning with Mommy!

We have been staying home all weekend and its been sooo boring but its been so hot so I really don't want to take her anywhere as much. Plus I'm starting to notice some type of heat rash or eczema rash on her neck and around her mouth where her pacifier touches her cheeks. Ugh! I dont know what to put or do. =( I was thinking about buying some eczema cream but I don't know if its just a rash.

I decided to take her bright and early before it hit 100 degrees. Lol! I took her to BRU for the Fisher Price B1G1 Sale :) I love sales! I love coupons :) I think I'm going to start posting my coupon trips. It's amazing. I love the girls on BBC that help me. I have been able to save so much money. Below were my previous trips about a month ago I think. One was at CVS and the other Kroger's. :)
Total OOP: 13 BUCKS --- SAVED: 20-30 BUCKS I think. The bread I had to get because we needed bread ASAP and I usually buy wheat but once in a blue moon buy white because sometimes a girl misses her white carbs!! LOL
This was a great week at CVS for me. I think it was earlier in the month of June? Total OOP 19.58 well lets just round it up to 20 bucks!!; Total Saved: 40-50 bucks? Considered a BOX of Pampers is 20 bucks by itself. I did great I think! Lol I got 2 jumbo packs of diapers and 1 big value box plus all the other extras for only $20! I have been able to save so much on diapers from couponing! Its great! I was thinking about CDing when I was pregnant. But after extensive research about it, I don't think its ideal for me. I mean I love how cute those cloth diapers are and have NO problem with them but its just not for me. I'm in love with sposies. So we have a closet full of them. Literally. Lol

Anyway, I took Abigail out to BRU, Target, and Old Navy. Old Navy had there 20 dollar bag sale. I haven't really bought clothes for myself lately so decided to grab one for myself and DD of course. I really do like the clothes that came in the bag. I mean I was pretty scared I would hate it. I bought one for DH too and I asked him to be sure if he wants it because he's really picky. I bought one and we both don't like what came in his. I love what came in mine and Abbys. Stuff we would actually WEAR and I'm not saying it because it was only 20 bucks. We also went in Target. I love that place!!! They are starting to have their toy/baby clearance right now so there is a BUNCH of stuff on clearance. I think right now its only 30 percent. But I was able to get her 3 cute onsies (different sizes as she grows of course), a 3 pack of Gerber Onsies for 4.48! (Those things at 9.99 regularly!), and 2 cute onsies for her cousin (SILs baby, 4 weeks younger than Abigail), and a 3 pack of Nuk Bottles that I've been dying to try out for her, and a Baby Einstein DVD, CD and book set for 30 bucks. Well I used Q's and a 10 dollar GC I had from a razor sale I did earlier this week. I've been wanting to buy her some Baby Einstein DVDS since I was pregnant! Because a lady that I knew back in 2007, had a daughter I babysat for about 2 years, SWORE by Baby Einstein. I mean she loved the DVDS and bought about 10 or more of them! I've shown some youtube videos of it to Abby and she loves it. She'll stare away at it. Lol Anyway, I'm so exhausted...DH and DD are knocked out and I'm glued to the computer on BBC and March '11 mama's group on FB.

DH and I have been wanting a mobile for Abigail for the longest. We just haven't found one and they are pretty pricey. We wanted the Baby Einstein one but this will do just fine. Plus it was on sale and this would be the cheapest I could get it at. She loves it! I put it up right away and she just STARES and it and smiles!

I bought her this kick and play piano and she's been kicking away at it! She loves it also :)  I like how both of these range from Birth-36 Months. I like to buy things that grow with her. I only spent 45 bucks on both of them. Thats including tax. I tried looking for the push along toys that converts into a riding toy per Mrs. Jess suggestions, but it was CLEARED OUT! I was so mad. I mean geezus I thought the sale just started or was I wrong? Lol So I decided to get her both of these at least they go up to 36 months so that's a plus side. I saw one mobile I wanted that went up to only 5 months for 50-60 bucks! I can't imagine buying anything that only goes up to 5 months unless its a 20 or less toy and even that I would smack myself for. But sometimes you just have to have it for your LO. I mean I just love to get her things and I feel like she deserves it. I had my chance to get everything and everything I've been wanting for 22 years and my baby deserves everything now. I think it all comes from my father getting us the best of things. My mom, not so much. I know you guys probably think I'm psycho for buying all of this for her. But I think its just her being my first and all, its just so exciting AND the fact that growing up, my dad would always give us things that he thought we deserved all the way up until he passed away in 2002. I would want to be the loving, caring, and selfless person my father was to my sister and I.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Obsessed!

I swear I am so obsessed with shopping online for my LO! Especially when I see something about an item on my birth board! Damn you March '11 mamas! :) Well, my little one received so much socks at her baby shower..I usually just roll them down..DH gave me this genius idea to roll them all the way up to her knees and they were SO freakin' cute! So now I love doing that to all of her socks. A momma from the March board brought up Baby Legs. Last night I was shopping around at 3 AM...and I ordered 2 pairs of Baby Legs for Abigail! Yay! I'm so excited. They should be coming in tomorrow, if not Saturday the latest. I'm hoping it isn't too loose on her, she's such a teeny tiny baby!

I ordered these two via Baby Legs :) I'm so excited! I love dressing my baby up! DH's family is always saying "Every picture you send us, she's always just dressing up huh". Lol!

Our Wonderful Weekend

So I know that I posted "Happy 4th of July" a bit early. But I guess I was just too excited. Just wanted to do a little update. Well A LOT of updates. We enjoyed our 4th of July. Sunday, we decided to take Abigail to the Butterfly Museum <3. She loved looking around, it was pretty humid in there so we didn't stay long. But she loved looking around. It was great. We also tried putting her in her Jumperoo I think last Friday? Lol, she loves being in it but still a bit too small but likes the concept of standing up. Anyway, Then Monday, we decided to stay home and relax. I love relaxing with my family! It was the best 4th of July EVER! Spending it with my baby girl <3 Around 7:30-8ish, we decided to take Abby to go see the fireworks in Katy, TX. She looked at it for a bit in the car but loved looking around at other people more! LOL

She loves when I baby wear her! She hates her Stroller AND Car Seat when she's in the store with me. We've had PLENTY of baby tantrums at check out lanes! I currently have 2 baby carriers and I LOVE this one the most (Its the cheapest one). I'm contemplating on getting another one since I love it and she does too!
Today wanting to sit up and look down at something! Holding her prized possession Sophie <3

Her with one of her Great Grandma's <3 I think this was Sunday?
Her on 4th of July..we were headed to see the fireworks..with her FAVORITE toys <3

She LOVES smiling at mama! LOVES IT!!
 Posing!

 My Big Girl <3
"I love starring at my mommy!!"

I have purchased so much within the past week or two. My DH thinks I'm crazy!! LOL! But as much money as I save from couponing and building my stock pile (I have so much health/hygiene, toliettres, etc in my towel pantry closet), I spend the money saved on things for her. So much for saving. ;)

What are you favorite toys/things purchased for your LO ladies? I'm trying to build a toy stash/stock pile for her also! :)

Happy Fourth of July!!

We didn't do anything major today. Just the occasional drive around town and to the mall to shop for Abigail. Gosh, I am so obsessed with buying her things. Everything I see that is cute, I just have to have. Lol! She started grabbing on her Baby Einstein toy I bought her today. Its exciting! She loved that toy at the store.

Today we bought her a Sleep Sheep! Per the great reviews from the March 2011 Mamas on FB! I love how it plays for 25 or 45 minutes straight. The Sea Horse is good too, but I like the different sounds and timer that the Sleep Sheep has. We took her to the mall for a couple of hours, then the park to see some ducks. =) She was a bit tired and overwhelmed towards the last 5 minutes before we decided to leave to go home. Poor baby girl fussed so much when we got home for about 45 minutes, during her bath so she had to be swaddled and I decided to test her Sheep out. LOL
This is what I bought her today, her daddy picked out her shoes and dress. I picked out the toys! LOL! Go figure. I bought her Sophie the Giraffe after looking at it for months! Her Sleep Sheep and a blanket that's reversible. Hopefully she likes these things. I love her shoes! I can't wait to put her in her outfit and shoes <3

Tomorrow if all goes according to plan, we wanted to take Abby to see some butterflies at the Butterfly Museum since she loves to look at things. Yay for that!
