What a weekend!

Me and my S/O took Abigail out to the park this weekend to go see the ducks. She loves being outside! But she was over-tired so she fussed about 20 minutes after being there. When we got home I noticed her inner corner of her right eye looked pretty irritated, red, and puffy. I'm really worried since it might be an infection or it might just be irritating her from being outside, or she might have just scratched it. Either way, I've been using a warm wash cloth to wipe it. She finally got her bath today after 2 days of no bathing. (LOL) I finally took out her newborn sling but that didn't work out so well. She was pretty nervous and daddy had to hold her the whole time. I think the newborn sling on her tub will be put back on there until she can sit up on her own. Abigail loves taking baths just as long as the water is extra warm. I did it slightly warm/cool since that was the hottest our water could get at the time and she didn't like it as much. It has to be warm/hot-ish and she'll take it. My baby girl loves the warm water like her mommy!

Abby slept on her tummy today (with the supervision of mommy of course) and slept so good. Every time she sleeps on her tummy she drools so much on sheets while she's asleep on her tummy its crazy. But she loves it. She didn't want to wake up when we tried calling her and tapping on her. LOL yeah right what newborn would want to wake up when their fast asleep.

I absolutely LOVE this face. It's her "mommy leave me alone now" face. LOL! She loves to lay with mommy in the mornings before we wake up and likes to laugh and giggle until she falls asleep for her morning nap. I love her shirt. I only have one kimono style shirt for her and I wish I could find more that I like. It's so hard to find one that I like.

A couple of recent pictures of Abigail. She's growing up so fast. There's one with her on her bumbo and she loves being on it for a couple of minutes max. But I think she still isn't comfortable with it. She's still too young right now but loves to sit up when me and my s/o hold her up. I just love her "wide-eye" look! LOL! She always has that look when she's looking at something that interests her.






Mommy can NOT wait to get her one of these! We have tile floor so I'm hoping it'll be easy on her. I hope the dogs don't go crazy. My boxer loves toys and anything colorful so it's going to be hard trying to tame her! LOL I know Abigail will love this when she gets it. ;) Or I think mommy will love it more ;) hehe

Its summer and so hot! I'm so glad at my baby shower everyone decided to get me 3-6 month clothing and they all were SUMMER clothing! Especially in Texas, it gets so hot! She needs it. Except she's in onesies all day so I don't really think those "outfits" matter. But when she goes out and about with me or her daddy, I think dressing her up would be more appropriate (and cute LOL).

Abigail is knocked out and mommy has some work to finish up before bed. Sweet dreams. xoxo
